She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan MacNeil and Theresa MacNeil (Boutilier); her husband Keith Lovett; her sister-in-law Dorothy; and her niece Arlene MacNeil.
She is survived by: her daughter Leanne Arnold (Michael) of Waterloo, ON; her grandchild Meredith Arnold; her siblings, Sidney MacNeil, Freeman MacNeil (Doreen) and Joan Young (Allison); her siblings' children, Blair, Chuck, Theresa, Glen Howard, Kelly and Brenda; and her sister-in-law Germaine MacNeil.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
