Elizabeth Virtue Hodder Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Virtue Hodder (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Mayo and Gladys Mayo (Scott); her husband Levi Hodder; her sons, Winston and Colin; her grandchildren, Horgan, Morgan and Skye; and her brothers, Melvin, Kennth and Rendall.

She is survived by: her daughters, Paula (Vaughn), Valerie (Blair) and Dianne Power; her grandchildren, Kathleen, Kenneth (Kynisha), Brooke, Megan, Colin Jr., Kurt and Florence; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Madison, Winston and Lennon; her siblings, Ernest Mayo and Susan MacKinley; and her pet Tigger. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
