It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Graham Richards (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugh John and Harriet Richards (Evelly); his wife Mona (Patey); and his brother Hugh. He is survived by : his daughters, Denise Jobes (James) and Jennifer Richards (Michelle); his grandchildren, Nikita, Chelsie, Kalie, Tessa, James and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Jack, Abbi, Melody, Ezra, Ryker, Domonik and Jaxon; his sister Lisa Thomas (Ross); his sister-in-law Mary Richards; his nieces and nephews, Greg Riggs, Christopher Riggs, Cindy Foley, Tanya Richards, Hughie Richards and Christopher Richards; and his pet Missy.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Dementia Care, St. John the Baptist Anglican Church or Cape Breton Burn Camp.
