He was predeceased by: his mother Melinda Seymour (Keeping); his siblings-in-law, Lavinia Seymour and Max Croucher; his wife Nellie; and his siblings, Winnifred, Hilda, Trifina and Clayton.

He is survived by: his father Percy Seymour; his children, Hilton Seymour (Margaret) of Middleton, N. S. and MaryLynn MacIntyre (Clarence); his grandchildren, Amanda Zadeh (Anthony), Lynsey MacIntyre (Dave Walker), Kerri Seymour and Lucas MacIntyre (Courtney Whitty); his great grandchildren, Nathan, Bodhi Walker and Cecilia Zadeh; his sister Maisie Strickland (Allen); and his uncle Earl. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
