He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Nelson and Lillian Nelson (Potter); and his wife Valerie Nelson (McArthur). He is survived by: his children, Andrew Nelson (Stacey) and Dana Young (Brian); his grandsons, Connor and Oliver; and his siblings, Michael, David, Jack, Christina Billard, Kathy Nelson and Mary Louise Thomson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made in memory of him to Haley Street, North Sydney.
