We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2024, at the age of 85, John Tobin Cox (North Sydney, Nova Scotia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Tobin Cox to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Cox and Rose Cox (Tobin); his wife Beverley (Martin); and his siblings, Catherine Ann MacKenzie Cox, Kenny Cox, Rosemary "Roey" Clarke, Barbara Kernick and Joseph "JoJo" Cox.

He is survived by : his children, Jonathan (Karen) and Cathy MacMullin (Chris); his grandchildren, Gavin, Sam MacMullin, Marissa, Evan and Cowan Cox; his sisters, Dorothy Blackadar (David), Judy Cox, Viola Smith (Roy) and Mary Hirtle (Jim); his goddaughter Shauna Hepworth; and his brother-in-law Donald Martin of Port Alberni, B. C.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations are encouraged to be made to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation.
