Jonathan Grist Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonathan Grist of Sydney, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Jeremy and Brooklynn; the mother of his children Heather; his parents, Mavis (John Gillis) and Mark (Mary Grist); his grandmother Ellen MacKinnon; his sisters, Katie and Allison (Andrew Harris); his niece Rori; his close friend Joe (Amy); and his grandparents, John Francis MacKinnon, Robert and Patrica Grist.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
