He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis LeBlanc and Lillian Irene LeBlanc (Day); his wife Donna (Carlyle); his children, Paul (Heidi), Kevin, Larry (Theresa), Don (Heather), Tammy and Michel; his grandchildren, Kyla, Kenny-Wayne, Kevin and Clarissa; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth, Mary Juanita, Sylvia Marie, Doreen Marcella, Mildred Marina, John Vincent, Reginald, Earl, Lloyd, Mary Cecilia and Micheal Paul; and his son-in-law Nick Sanders.

He is survived by: his children, David (Charlotte) and Marina Sanders (Nick); his grandchildren, Evan, John, Donna Lynn, Sheri, Becky, Erica, Aaron, Emily, Echo, Robyn, Rachel, Justin, Jessie, Jenna, Nicole, Marissa, Big Joe, Jared, Duke, Jimmy, Mike, Michelle and Tammy; and his siblings, Beverley Thomas, William, Kevin LeBlanc and Dorothy Marsh (Owen).
