It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Vivian Slade (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Manassah Anderson and Barbara Anderson (Farrell); her husband Ernie Slade; her son Shawn; her daughter-in-law Rosemary; and her brother Elliott Anderson.

She is survived by : her children, Nina, Leanne and Lorne Slade (Margaret); her grandchildren, Carla, Amanda, Shannon, Victoria and Nicholas; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Emily, Ben, Jake, Grayson and Anders.
