He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Brown and Elizabeth Brown (Clarke); his wives, Jacqueline (Allister) and Sharon Bishop; his sons, Wayne and Darren Brown; and his brother Malcolm Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Brown (Shane Kjersteen), Carol MacKinnon (Glen), Janice Brown, Leo (Lucy), Jeff (Kim) and Greg Brown (Michelle); his stepsons, Greg and Jamie Bishop; his daughter-in-law Darlene Brown; his grandchildren, Sam, Jack, Nicole, Steven, Derrick and Jeffrey; his stepgranddaughter Julia; and his sister Shirley Yetter (Dave). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Service Ltd. (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9).
