Leona Williams Obituary
In loving memory of Leona Williams of North Sydney, Nova Scotia, who departed this world on May 30, 2025 at the age of 75. Leona leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Bobbitt and Addie Bobbitt (Piercey); her siblings, Robert, Sylvia Galpin and Grace Kirby; and her siblings-in-law, Eugene O'Brien and Wendy Boutilier.
She is survived by: her husband Jobe Williams Jr.; her children, Kenneth (Nicole) and Barbara MacNeil (Ross); her grandchildren, Megan (James), Derek, Brandon (Allie), Jake (Landen) and Callie; her siblings, Laverna O'Brien and Leonard Bobbitt Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, David (Holly), Ron, John Williams (Dianne) and Phyllis Reid. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A committal service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lakeside Cemetery.
