It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Ivey (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Skinner and Bernadette Skinner (Smith); her husband William; her son Kenneth; and her sister Marie Power (Harold).
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" (Linda), Darren, Pamela Whittle (Peter) and Tracey MacAulay; her daughter-in-law Nancy Ivey; her grandchildren, William, Jessica, Steven, Katelyn, John Ross, Michael Brian, Rebecca, Kenzie Ann and Morgan Lynn; her great grandchildren, Sadie, Macie, Lane, Layla, Lexi, Teigan and Josephine; and her siblings, Patricia McGean (Bud), Joe and Lorne (Linda).
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church (Archibald Ave, North Sydney, NS B2A3M4). A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
