She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Hugh and Mary Ann MacDonald (Matheson); her husband Ira; her son Terry (Brian); her daughter-in-law Ann Robinson (MacLeod); her siblings, Donald, Lloyd (Shirley), James (Kay), Al (Grace) and Kay Smith (George); and her stepbrothers, Claude (Ruth) and Tom MacDonald (Mary).
She is survived by: her children, Jim of Greenwood, NS, Gwen Benoit (Alex), Mary Jane Thyssen (Anthony) and Steve (Terrilee); her grandchildren, Melanie (Scott), Jamie (Bernie), Monique (Clifford), John (Cindy), Josh (Pam), Michael (Channing), Brian (Lacey), Aunalee (Charlie) and Graham (Rebecca); her great grandchildren, Josh, Damien, Raya, Jace, Maddie, Jayden, Emma, Jordan, Logan, Hank and Isla; and her sister-in-law Rena Mae MacDonald.
