She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Vacheresse and Isabel Vacheresse (Fleming); her sister Lois; and her daughter-in-law Judy Gilchrist (MacDonald). She is survived by: her husband Alex Gilchrist; her children, Scott Gilchrist and Cathy McGee (Stephen); her grandchildren, Sandy McGee, Matthew Gilchrist, Carly Gilchrist and Stephanie McGee; her friend Kaye Rhymes; and her cousin Bev Miles (Fred). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew Wesley United Church, the North Sydney Food Bank or to a charity of one's choice.
