She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Ducey and Ada Ducey (Fewer); her brothers, Frank, Adrian and Bernard; her nephews, Trevor Card, Lonny Ducey and Frank Ducey Jr.; and her brother-in-law Doug MacDonald.
She is survived by: her husband Maxwell; her children, Karen Murphy (Jim), Sherry Fraser (John), Duane (Lisa) and Jordan (Miranda); her grandchildren, Meaghan MacLean (Rodney), Bethany, Julia Kemp, Faith Nicholson (Josh), Jack Fraser, Layne MacPhee, Marley and Michael Prosser; her great grandchildren, Wesley, Grant, Dale MacLean and Charlie Nicholson; her siblings, Sheila Whittle (Edwin), Maureen Beazley (Robie), Yvonne Baker (Eric), Rhonda Stanford (Paul), Timothy (Joan), Eugene (Gloria), Howard (Dorothy), Bill (Kim), Greg (Mary Ann), Marlon and Randy Ducey; and her sisters-in-law, Donna MacDonald and Angela Ducey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Service Ltd. (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home Chapel (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9).
