He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Jose" Cordero and Frances Cordero (Richards); the mother of his children Delores Cordero (Harper); his daughter Michelle Marie Cordero; and his siblings, Mary-Ellen Tobin (Russel), Bridget Glogowski (Joe), Gloria and Anthony.
He is survived by: his children, Heather, Holly Cordero and Donnie Cordero; his brother Vincie Cordero (Laura); and his grandchildren, Shane Gillis, Michelle Gillis, Keith Gillis (Stephanie) and Samantha Cordero Grandy. He is also survived by eight great-granddaughters and one great-great- grandson.
