He was predeceased by: his parents, William Organ and Mary Organ (Skinner); his wife Catherine Jean Organ; his son Eric Davey Organ; and his siblings, John, Margaret Hood, Geraldine Mitchell, Ann Walker, Hazel MacDonald, Mary MacIntyre and Cass Walsh.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Bond (Lorne), William James, Philip Thomas (Lynn) and Mark Troy (Marie). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and many great grand-children, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Service Ltd. (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home Chapel (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9).
