She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Taylor and Jessie Taylor (Coffin); her husband Ronald Rose; her stepchildren, Faye Matheson and Bonney Murphy; her sons-in-law, David Fells and Matthew Murphy; her grandchildren, Emily Jean Fells and Daniel Foster; her siblings, Ralph, Marjorie Taylor and Bonnie Eaves; and her in-laws, Gert Dunphy, Pamela Boyden, Ruby Harnish, Ada Haggerty, Bertha McCormick, Jerry, Andrew and Wilfred Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Foster (James), Suzanne Cox (Guy), Gary (Janette) and Paul (Karen); her grandchildren, Jonathan Fells (Ian), Sacha Cox, Joey Cox (Cass), Jocelyn Foss, Robert Rose, Mary Lynn MacPherson, Nathan Rose, Jacob Rose, Nick Rose, Sarah Bullock (Joey) and Will Matheson (Autumn); her great grandchildren, Brayden, Nevaeh, Maliyah MacPherson and Charlotte Foss; her siblings, Gwen Keeping, Linda Bennett, Joan Warhaus, Betty Beanlands, Charles, Donald and Thomas; and her in-laws, Jack, Jimmy and Lou Rose.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home Chapel (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9).
