She is survived by: her daughters, Linda MacKinnon (Colin) and Lisa McInnis (Keith); her sister Carlotta Skinner; her grandchildren, Robyn Whitty, Lance Poirier, Glenn, David, Kelli McInnis, Jake and Drew MacKinnon; and her friends, Rose, Pearl, Eve, Millie, Moo, Theresa, Eldride, Betty, Ruth and Adrian. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sylvia's memory can be made to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Respiratory Department, Palliative Care or a charity of choice.
