She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara and Charlene; her daughter-in-law Shirley; her nephew Ian; her grandchildren, Stephen, Natalie, Alana, Stephanie, Philip and Robbie; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Kalee, Noah, Madison, Hannah, Westin, Jenna, Ryden, Arabella, Kherington, Charlie, Woods and Willow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Vera's memory to St. John the Baptist Anglican Church or the Northside Community Guest Home.
