William McKee Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William McKee (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George McKee and Dorothy McKee (Collins); his siblings, Mary Lou Greenfield (Gary), Norm, Roy, Dave and George; his parents-in-law, Loretta and Isadore Matthews; and his goddaughter Taylor Sainthill.
He is survived by: his wife Marie (Matthews); his children, Anita Marks (Roy), Michelle and Billy McKee (Danielle); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott), RJ (Corrine), Jeremy (Hannah), Olivia, Emily, Michael and Aiden; his great grandchildren, Fern, Veida, Oona and Daxton; his brothers, Ross and Joe; and his caregiver Julia Penny. He is also survived by special friend Tweet, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Home (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Centre.
