It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Richard Pearson of Oakfield, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Pearson and Eleanor Pearson (Hasson); his son Michael; his siblings, Sharon Wright and William Pearson; his nephew Andrew Barlow; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Palmer and Jim Barlow.

He is survived by: his wife Beverley New Minas (Palmer); his daughters, Jillian Ross (Chris) and Jena Pearson of Calgary, AB; his granddaughters, Jamie and Darci Ross; his aunts, Margaret Coish of Chilliwack, BC, Mary Lou Garriock of Upper Sackville, NS and Judy Carr of Hoyt, NB; his siblings-in-law, Frances Palmer-Barlow of Edmonton, AB, Barbara Pearson of Rockland, ON, Wayne Palmer (Rosemary) of Enfield, Brian Palmer (Lois) of Enfield, Billy Palmer and Ken Wright of Cheltenham, ON; and his nieces and nephews, Katie Barlow, Ryan, Tara Palmer, Jessica, Jacob Palmer, Tom and Natalie Pearson.
