He was predeceased by : his parents, Malcolm MacAulay and Effie MacAulay (MacQueen); and his wife Mildred (Willet). He is survived by : his sons, Roger (Lenie), Lower Sackville, Edward (Sheila), Barry (Shelley) and Sydney; and his grandchildren, Robert (Janet), Kim (Mark), Heather (Chris), Christy (Sal), Andrew (Tiffany), Christopher (Millie), Melissa, Chad (Markayla), Matt and Millie (Pius). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Oakfield Cemetery.
