It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Edwin Lavigne of Oakfield, Nova Scotia, born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pius Lavigne and Loretta Lavigne (LeCouter); and his sister Pauline Plank. He is survived by: his children, Michael Lavigne (Candice) of Oakfield, NS and Danielle Gillan (Dan) of Stratford, PEI.; his former wife Mary McCaughey of Clyde River, PEI.; and his brother Richard LeCouter of Bathurst, NB. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Jays Care Foundation" which is the charitable arm of Paul's favorite MLB team, the Toronto Blue Jays.
