With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Adair Mattinson (Oxford, Nova Scotia), born in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Donn Mattinson and Mary Mattinson; his siblings, Dwayne (Sara) and Beverley (Ross); his children, Christopher (Kendel), Kevin (Verna) and Margaret (Bob); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Mackenzie, Emma and Kaden. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church or St. James Presbyterian Church.

“Thinking of everyone during this difficult time. Adair will be missed, but his presence remains with all of us because he touched so many lives with his positive approach and outlook on life. I am forever grateful that I got to know him early in my life and always considered him a close friend. A measure of a person as a human being is the ability to positively effect others around him. Adair set this bar extremely high, and the world is a better place because of it.”
