He was predeceased by : his wife Hazel; his siblings, Olive Jackson, Jean Mattinson, Basil Carter and Delbert Carter; his half-brother Stuart Carter; his son David Carter; and his grandsons, Myron Vansnick and Russell Carter.
He is survived by : his daughters, Sharon Carter (Ronnie) and Geraldine Vansnick (John); his daughter-in-law Diane Carter; his son Peter Carter (Merrilee Emslie); and his grandchildren, Roberta, Yvonne, Charlene, Maura, Timothy, Gregory, Scott and David.
