She was predeceased by: her parents, Morton James and Irene Selina Carter (MacDonald); her husband Marven; her children, Mary Baker, Johnathon, Glory and Grace; and her granddaughter Melanie Harnish.
She is survived by: her siblings, Henry Carter, Ivy Hines (Carter), James Webb Carter (Diane), Eleanor Cochrane and Robert Carter (Maxine); and her children, Eva Cameron (Ken), Vance Mattinson (Barb), Rozella Murray, Roy Mattinson (Kim), Ivy Kierstead (Brian), Joann Strickland (Richard) and Esther St (Trevor).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oxford Church of the Nazarene (207 Lower Main St, Oxford, NS B0M1P0). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
