He was predeceased by : his parents, Douglas Rushton and Annie Rushton (Sumara); his siblings, Helen Myatt (Curtis), Georgina and Ralston; and his siblings-in-law, Alan (Maude), Paul MacDonald and Dorothy Royles.
He is survived by : his wife Joan MacDonald; his children, Mark (Veronica) and Karen Rushton-Paul (Danny Paul); his grandson Maximo; his sister Betty Bird (Leicester); his nieces and nephews, Darrell Myatt (Vivian), Doug Myatt (Mel), Ann, Peter Bird, Kim, Mark, Susan Rushton, Nancy and Debbie Hahn; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn, Brian, Bruce, Ronald MacDonald, Valerie MacDonald, Mary Gwen MacDonald (Garry), Clara Hamilton (Jim) and Heather MacDonald (Stephen).
