He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Porteous and E. Phyllis Porteous (Currie); and his son Travis. He is survived by: his sons, Trevor (Rhonda) of Nictaux, NS and Troy (Jevne) of Stonewall, MB; his grandchildren, Tristan, Dustin, Jesse, Leah and Eric; his siblings, Marlaine Homans (Robert) of Musquodoboit Harbour, NS and Rick Porteous of Roslin, NS; and his siblings' children, Charmen, DJ, Heather, Robyn and Currie.
