He was predeceased by : his parents, Freeman Porteous and E. Phyllis Porteous (Currie); and his son Travis. He is survived by : his sons, Trevor (Rhonda) of Nictaux, NS and Troy (Jevne) of Stonewall, MB; his grandchildren, Tristan, Dustin, Jesse, Leah and Eric; his siblings, Marlaine Homans (Robert) of Musquodoboit Harbour, NS and Rick Porteous of Roslin, NS; and his nieces and nephews, Charmen, DJ, Heather, Robyn and Currie.
