It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Shubert of Oxford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shubert and Alfreda Shubert (Denbenski); his wife Marjorie; and his brothers, Charles, Bill and Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Ricci of Pugwash, NS, Monique Shubert (Rodney) of Great Village, NS and Michael Shubert (Sue); his grandchildren, Melissa, Ryan, Raelene, Jada, Gregory, Nick, Jeff and John; and his brother Eddie Shubert (Gloria). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium (5075 Main St, Oxford, NS B0M1P0). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
