With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Becky Emma Townsend of Paradise, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Becky is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Becky's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Harold Townsend. She is survived by: her mother Pansy Townsend (Hayden); her son Trevor Hird (Beth); her brother Howard Townsend; her granddaughter Grace Hird; and her nephew Brock Muise.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Paradise Cemetery (10155 Evangeline Trl, Paradise, NS B0S0A1).
