She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Hull and Margaret Hull; her husbands, Earl Sutherland and Randy MacDonald; her children, Charlie Lyons and Alice Lyons; her siblings, Rose, Genie, Mary, Evelyn and Paul; and her daughter-in-law Marilyn Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Liz Rice (Joe), Donna Shepherd (Hugh), Brenda Lyons (Scott), Linda Daley (Peter), Shirley Daley (Shane), Dave Lyons (Glenda), Chess Lyons and Leonard Lyons (Edna). She is also survived by mothers love is forever, and a grandmothers.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McLaren Funeral Home (246 Faulkland St, Pictou, NS B0K1H0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital, Northumberland Veterans Unit.
