It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Margaret Mitchell (Pictou, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Steele and Marjorie Steele; her brother Kenneth Steele; her nephew Andrew; her in-laws, Thomas and Catherine Annie; and her sister-in-law Veda.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond; her children, Tanya and Christopher; her grandson Lucas; her pets, Tripod, Dottie and Teddy; her siblings, Irene Cannon (Ron) and William Steele (Rose); and her siblings-in-law, Jackie Steele and George Mitchell (Pearl). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
