He is survived by: his wife Laura Richard (McAuley); his children, Riley, Kayla and Lucas; his brother Danny Richard (Shera) of Oromocto, NB; his mother-in-law Corinne McAuley (Mourant); and his sisters-in-law, Colleen and Becky (Crawford). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to any animal rescue organization to honour Brian's love for animals.
