He was predeceased by: his parents, George Munroe and Annie Munroe (Williams); and his siblings, Shirley, Nellie, Hattie, Edith, Wilda, Clayton, Russell, Carl, Sanford, Emmett and Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Munroe (Pettipas); his children, Donna Gillis (Tim) and Kevin Munroe (Cindy); his grandchildren, Owen (Jess), Zack (Maria), Ethan, Nick, Abbey, Cameron, Baillie and Samantha (Sandy); his sister Ethel Munroe; and his sibling's children, Eileen, Tanya, Tina, Maggie, Bruce and Sonny.
Campbell made many donations over the years. Monetary donations can be made to the Pictou County Palliative Care Society.
