He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hendsbee and Jean Hendsbee (George); his siblings, Joan Sorrell (Jim), Diane, Ugene, Ronnie and Maxwell; and his siblings-in-law, Beth Caron and Jim Sorrell.
He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Diana Hendsbee, Nicole Snyder (John) and Timothy Hendsbee (Lisa); his brother Eric Hendsbee (Dellas); and his siblings-in-law, Janet Doyle (Bev), Paula Brady (Ray Charron), Susan Hendsbee (Nick Bryant) and Marc Caron (Lianne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McLaren Funeral Home (246 Faulkland St, Pictou, NS B0K1H0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (105 Coleraine St, Pictou, NS B0K1H0).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or the Maritime Odd Fellows Home in Pictou, NS.
