She was predeceased by: her parents, Legere Petitpas and Azilda'Hilda' Petitpas (Burke) of Îles; her former husband Nick; her sister Mary Irene; and her daughter Gisele Rita Landry.
She is survived by: her husband Walter'Nick'Nicholas Landry (Petit); her children, Claudette Chaisson (Jerry), Carmen Hawley (Francis), Carl Landry and Marc Landry (Rebecca Goodwin); her grandchildren, Rodney Chaisson (Charlene), Chris Chaisson (Karen), Mark Chaisson (Dana), Sandra White (Ken), Brian Chaisson, Simon Hawley (Courtney), Nicole Landry (Ian Henman), David Chaisson (Carla), Michelle Magee (Joe), Justin Landry (Jessica), Jennifer Isnor (Evan), Nicholas Landry (Nicole), Jarrett Landry (Kim MacLean) and Kimberly Bohémier (Steve); and her friend Rita Haley. She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stella Maris Church (26 St Stephen St, Pictou, NS B0K1H0).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stella Maris St. Vincent De Paul Society or a charity of choice.
