Gerald Frederick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred McGuire and Betty McGuire; his wife Donalda; his children, Jeff (Corinnea), Mary Beth (Darrell), Jeriann (Houman), Paul (Melanie) and Kent (Nikki); his grandchildren, Madison, Brennan, Sara, Dylan, Ryan, Alyssa, Camren, Lauren, Liam, Maya and Russell; and his siblings, Jim, Pat (Alma) and Sheila (Dennis). He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLaren Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stella Maris Church (26 St Stephen St, Pictou, NS B0K1H0).
Donations may be made to the Stella Maris Parish or Pictou West Food Bank, in Gerald's memory.
