She was predeceased by: her parents, Annabelle Hooper and Lester Hooper; her husband Logan MacDonald; and her children, Wendy and Brian.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda (Allen); her daughter-in-law Lesley; her grandchildren, Meg (Ian), Madi (Mike), Leigha (Justin), Logan (Erin), Jake (Ashlin) and Keil; her great grandchildren, Kennedy, London and Angus; her niece Alice; and her nephew Wayne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to First Presbyterian Church Pictou, or the Pictou Island Church Pioneer Cemetery.
