He was predeceased by: his parents, Harriett MacDonald and Bert MacDonald of Scotch Hill; his wife Muriel; his son Larry; his stepfather Stan Heighton; and his sisters, Doris Munro, Elsie Ferguson, Connie Morrison and Jennie McInnes.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Crossman (Steve), Dale (Lori) and Clifford (Beth); his daughter-in-law Mary MacDonald; and his brother Vincent Heighton (Joan). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
