He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse LaRade and Cecile LaRade; and his siblings, Adam LaRade, Jolene LaRade and Belinda LaRade.
He is survived by: his son Peter LaRade (Kimmy); his sisters, Darlene MacLeod, Angela Widen and Andrea Kaye (Matthew); and his grandson Noah. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stella Maris Catholic Church Cemetery (100 Palmerston St, Pictou, NS B0K1H0). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pictou Legion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a living memorial through McLaren Funeral Home.
