With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy May MacKinnon (Pleasant Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 30, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Timmons and Bertha Timmons (Burton); her husband Neil; and her siblings, Florence, Lena, Eileen, Murdock, Kenneth, William, Donald and Winston.

She is survived by: her children, Doreen MacKinnon (Wayne) and Wilson; her brother Lawrence Timmons (Laura Lee); her grandchildren, Angela and Adrian; her great grandchildren, Jillian, Jensen, Caylum and Samara; her great great grandchild Jace; and her sisters-in-law, Wilma and Gladys. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to a charity of one's choice.
