He was predeceased by: his sister Liz Webber; his in-laws, Doug Webber, Ernst Frazell and Elsie Rhodenizer; his parents-in-law, John and Clara Herman (Richards); and his in-laws, Charles Herman, Fred Herman, Elizabeth Selig and Doug Selig.

He is survived by: his significant other Judy (Herman); his children, Corey (Carman), Shelly (Curtis Wamback) and Jody (Jayme Lenihan); his grandchildren, Sydney Rhodenizer, Leah Rhodenizer, Mackenzie Rhodenizer (Justin Butler), Noah Wamback and Logan Wamback; his great grandchildren, River and Levi Butler; his siblings, Sandra Frazell, Charles, Cheryl Larkin (Leroy) and Cindy Naugler (David); and his in-laws, Margorie Keizer, Reg Herman (Linda), Sharon Slauenwhite (Stanley) and Vida Herman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
