She was predeceased by: her significant other Lendall Melanson; her son Wil Bertaux; her son-in-law Richard Long; her parents, Leslie Wile and Bonnie Wile (Lake); her siblings, Judy Mitchell, Paulette Croft, Owen Wile and Graham "Chubby" Wile; and her brothers-in-law, Keith Lewis and Arthur Mailman.

She is survived by: her children, Treena (Rory), Andrew (Laura) and Amanda; her grandchildren, Logan, Kaylah, Aiden and Addison; her close friend Emma; her great grandchild Katie; her sisters, Lexine Wile, Betty Mailman, Shirley Davison (Charlton), Patricia Lewis (Jim), Joan Wood (Jake) and Linda De Graaf (Henk); her brother-in-law Leslie Mitchell; and her pet Zoe.
