He was predeceased by: his parents, Eben Melanson and Rita Melanson (Amero); his brother Harley Melanson; and his grandson Jarrett Melanson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Melanson; and his children, Paul (Rose), James Melanson (Connie), Louise Stanton (Claude) and Heather Banks (Cody). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
