The memory of Carmen Douglas Hood of Point Aconi, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 60, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hood and Beatrice Hood (Forrest); his wife Kathy; his brother Calvin Hood; and his nephew Douglas Gracie.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Sharlene March (Shannon) and Daniel Allen March (Heather); his sisters, Donna Redd, Corinne Gracie (Albert), Nadine Ambrose (Jimmy) and Arlene Carter; and his grandson Jeremy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Service Ltd. (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Northside Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carmen's memory can be made to the Northside Baptist Church, North Sydney Foodbank or the NS SPCA Cape Breton Shelter.
