She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat MacIntyre and Estelle MacIntyre of Point Tupper, NS.; her brother-in-law Ivan Hamill of Mississauga, ON; her stepmother Robina "Vinie" MacIntyre; her siblings, Peter (Alice), Wayne, Terry (Mariliane), Clifford (Joan), Allan, Michael "Bud", Ray MacIntyre and Dianne Hamill; and her sisters-in-law, Kaye MacIntyre and Vesta Wadden.
She is survived by: her son Michael; her grandson Cohen; her siblings, Maureen Bourgeois (Albert) of Port Hawkesbury, NS and Fred "Bugs" (Jean) of Antigonish, NS; and her sisters-in-law, Joan MacIntyre of Port Hawkesbury, NS, Adelle Bates of Truro, NS, Sharon MacIntyre of Little Dover, NS and Brenda MacDonnell of Port Hastings, NS.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
