It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Isabel Googoo of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Googoo (Melody), Millbrook, Justin Googoo (Danielle), Bernadette Googoo of We'koqma'q, Charlene Googoo (Ryan Jr) of We'koqma'q, Claudine Googoo of We'koqma'q, Susan Raye Googoo of We'koqma'q and Dana Pierro (Hubert) of We'koqma'q; her siblings, Louis Joe Bernard, Gilbert Bernard, Charles Jr., Robert Bernard (Kelly), John Leonard Bernard (Darla), Madeline Bernard of We'koqma'q and Mary Catherine Pierro of Wagmatcook; her grandchildren, Justice, Katerina, Konnor, Lucky Basque, Dalen, Michael, Shaylene Googoo, Jakob, Konrad, Kylee Phillips, Brennan, Madi, Brady Googoo, Sam, Noah Prosper, Autumn, Sage, Maya, Aiden Gould, Dante, Huey, Lorelei Joe-Pierro, Juelz, Demi, Danni, Dianna and Jerru Sylliboy; her great grandchildren, Violet, Navyee Basque, Miliana Sylliboy-Basque, Sophia Googoo-Paul, Chevéyo Googoo, Liluyé, Léia Millier, Kade Googoo, Artemi, Konrad Pierro, Everleigh Gould-Paul, Teagan Paul, Alayah Gould, Weston Paul, Brody, Aeris, Garren, Leora Denny and Azia Francis; and her goddaughters, Nadine Bernard, Sadie Cremo and Donna Martin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
Flowers may be sent to the Centre and memorial donations can be made in Toswal's name to The Monastery of Mount Carmel Society of The Little Flower.
