Catherine Genevieve Currie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Genevieve Currie of Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Cormier and Kay Philpott (Desveaux); her husband Elmer; her stepfather Leo Philpott; and her brother Cyril Cormier (Donie).
She is survived by : her sons, Joe (Colleen), Robert (Marlene) and Michael; her grandchildren, Tavnor, Vicky, Kourtney, Makayla and Michelle; and her siblings, Simone Baglole (Len), Lenora Morrison (Stu), Kathleen "Squib" Cormier, Phillip Cormier (Pat), Robert "Bubba" Cormier (Janie), William "Willie" Cormier, Bernard "Bim" Cormier (Kathy), Paul Kevin "Red" Cormier (Valerie), Pauline Burke (Vernon) and Betty MacNeil. She is also survived by many children they had, and how many children their children.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date due to covid 19 restrictions.
Donations in honor of Jenny may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or Diabetes Canada.
