It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine MacMaster (Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on October 1, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine MacMaster to pay them a last tribute. You may also light a candle in honor of Elaine MacMaster.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Douglas Halfpenny and Loyola Halfpenny; her parents-in-law, Abner and Florence MacMaster; and her sister Carol White.

She is survived by : her husband Gary MacMaster; her children, Andrew (Mandi) of Spruce Grove, AB, Steven (Marigold) of Antigonish, NS, Nicole (Michael) of Fort McMurray, AB, Meghan (Alexander) of Fort McMurray, AB and Kathryn; her grandchildren, Bryden, Rylan, Jackson, Cole, Hailey, Noah, Hannah, Violet, Blake and Bentley; and her siblings, Marilyn (Peter) of Lawrencetown, Michael (Darlene) of Pleasant Valley, Blair (Charlene) of Edmonton, Paul (Julie) of Pictou and Rod White of Kettle Point. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2020 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Boylston Community Centre. A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 8th 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Port Shoreham Provincial Park (1720 NS-344, Boylston, NS B0H1G0).

Donations may be made to the Boylston Community Centre, Guysborough Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice.
